Hello mother is a fun & creative place.
It’s my ability to blend the fun stuff with my (impressive?) experience and strategy that keeps people coming back for more.
The client list at Hello Mother is a mix of successful e-commerce brands, service providers, celebrity brands and influencers that all understand the importance of a strong brand strategy.
It’s important to know that my time is best spent focusing on the strategy behind what we’re doing, guiding you (and/or your team) along the way and assisting in a lot of different areas where you need me. Rather than the end-to-end management of things. This is because you don’t work with mother to just get things done, you work with mother to create strategies that make you wonder “why didn’t I think of that?”, to do things differently, push the boat out a little, give your brand or your campaign a little more zest that only a mother can deliver.

Brand strategy (mother style) is an all encompassing approach that optimises your brands visual identity, communications and experience to make sure it’s going to work.
Every activity (advertising + press related) links back to your brand strategy and that’s why it’s so important.
Your brand strategy needs to communicate your own key information, inspire, educate and convert customers & of course, not be shit.
Initially I can create a brand strategy from scratch, optimise or evolve what you have. Once we’ve established ourselves where we want to be in this department I keep a holistic eye on this point to make sure your brand strategy is 1) being adhered to across all your activities and 2) evolving and growing as your business and customer needs evolve and change.

What’s different here compared to the point above is that we treat you (the person) as the business. I create a well considered brand and messaging strategy that aligns with what you’re trying to do.

One of the only tasks mother can mange end-to-end is Influencer Marketing.
When done properly Influencer & KOL Marketing can be really successful (conversions) and useful (for your brand strategy).
I’ve been doing Influencer Marketing for over a decade and have absolutely mastered it. No one does this like mother and it’s because no one has my experience, my global contact list or my ability to execute this in line with everything else you have going on.

Launching a sale or new product should be positioned in a way that is customer first. Meaning you’re launching this for the customer, not to sell to the customer.
Customers are smart, they know when they’re being taken advantage of. Your campaigns need to feel like a solution to them and that first comes down to 1) your reason for launching and 2) your messaging strategy.
After you’ve identified these things you can get to topics like budget, content, platforms etc.
Mother is here to strategise and plan your campaigns from start to finish. Putting the strategy and messaging first then linking in things like influencers, ad creatives, ad messaging, social content, email messaging etc to ensure a perfectly executed, well communicated and purpose-led launch that leaves your customers feeling like you care about them rather than the money they’re spending.

Consulting is mother’s favourite category because it’s where the most interesting solutions and ideas are created.
In my 10+ years working in marketing/brand strategy etc I’ve had a lot of experience in a lot of different areas. It’s very common when I’m listening to clients that we identify a new area I can help in.
I’ve launched loyalty programs, consulted on packaging design, retailer merchandising, etc etc. The list is endless so I can’t list it all. Plus, I don’t want people to look at it as a shopping list bc that’s not very fun.
Consulting (mother’s way) is always based on an hourly rate and is the best compliment to existing work we are doing as well as getting a foot in the door to start our relationship together.

Mother has planned & executed numerous events in the past and is open to doing more if the event itself is cool.
I’ve also done many speaking engagements to peers as well as students about Brand Strategy, Marketing and 21st Century Entrepreneurship.
These two things are not necessarily a “service” people come to me for but it’s something I am open to exploring more so if you’ve got something on your mind, LMK (let mother know) and let’s see what happens.

A respectful and collaborative approach is #1 in my books.
I don’t work “for you” I will proudly work “with you”. Creating a positive environment for both of us to flourish.

Doing things “just because” is not my style. The internet is a busy place and people’s time is valuable, we don’t want to waste it.
Whatever we work on together will at all times be purpose led or we won’t do it. If we’re not executing things without purpose that means there is no strategy and if there’s no strategy then girl, we’re in trouble.

Honesty, transparency and communication are the key to any successful relationship with mother.
It works both ways, not everything we do together will be a million dollar idea. We’ve got to push creative and strategic boundaries to test new things. The best way to learn, optimise and improve is by communicating honestly.

I know it sounds childish but on the back of my “we can create our own opportunities” speech above, having fun is mucho importanto to me.
If we are having fun, that’ll translate to our project together. If it’s not fun for us, it’s not fun for anyone, including your customer.
