Meet your mother

I’m not like a regular mom, i’m a cool mom.

This is a long story so get comfy.

My marketing career took off in 2015 & I have been working with innovative and interesting brands ever since. Skincare, makeup, injectables, apparel, personal care, intimate apparel, intimacy enhancers, you name it I’ve touched it (ew?) across Australia, the US & the UK.

In 2015 I was firmly at the forefront of Influencer Marketing when I landed my first Influencer Marketing job at Flat Tummy Tea and that’s when things really took off for me (if you buy me a spicy margarita I’ll tell you about it sometime). Long story short, it was my endless knowledge of reality TV and charm that landed me this gig and it’s still at the core of what I work on today.

Mother has kept a finger on the pulse when it comes to strategic brand development, strategic messaging & influencer marketing ever since and this is key to my continued success in this space. No one has my experience, no one has my work ethic and no one has the je ne sais quoi I bring to the table.

With my 10+ years of hands on experience I’ve learned 2x key things:

  1. We can all create our own opportunities. If there’s something you want that doesn’t exist, create it! The internet empowers everyone to innovate, revolutionise and change the world. You just need balls to be the “first” to do something.

  2. Consumers don’t shop by product, they shop by brand. When someone is buying a product online they’ve got a zillion options to choose from. What’s going to stand out, educate, inspire and connect with them is your brand. That’s why everything I work on comes from the brand down.

When you work with Hello Mother you become part of the family, one of the kids. Your mother always looks out for your best interest by keeping a holistic eye across your entire business. It’s mother's job to ensure everything going on in your world is working towards the same goal with the same message and giving consumers the same brand experience and finesse that only a mother can deliver.

The secret is mixing business & Pleasure

I have always pulled inspiration from pop culture and 90’s, 00’s American movie moms. Why? Bc they’re entertaining.

Entertainment is everything these days. If any element of what you’re doing is boring. People will scroll past you and think you’re a virgin that can’t drive (that’s a Clueless reference if you didn’t know 🙄).

Working with me is a totally different experience. I don’t know how I did it but somehow I have the perfect balance of experience, strategic nuance and creativity endlessly flowing through my body and frankly, thank god. The result of this is more eyebrow-raising, "did-they-just-do-that?" moments than I can count.

Hello Mother is a creative outlet for me. I blend my interests with my skillset which helps keep my work current and fun. That’s why the Hello Mother brand strategy is so unique, it’s built off of my personalty so if you like what you see so far, we’re on the right path.

We’ve got to keep it real

I’m not the right fit for everyone just like your product/service isn’t going to be right for everyone. I’m very thankful to be able to be selective with the projects I work on here at Hello Mother. Below is some important information about my working style and if you’d like to learn more about working together, click the button below.

  • A respectful and collaborative approach is #1 in my books.

I don’t work “for you” I will proudly work “with you”. Creating a positive environment for both of us to flourish.

  • Doing things “just because” is not my style. The internet is a busy place and people’s time is valuable, we don’t want to waste it.

Whatever we work on together will at all times be purpose led or we won’t do it. If we’re not executing things without purpose that means there is no strategy and if there’s no strategy then girl, we’re in trouble.

  • Honesty, transparency and communication are the key to any successful relationship with mother.

It works both ways, not everything we do together will be a million dollar idea. We’ve got to push creative and strategic boundaries to test new things. The best way to learn, optimise and improve is by communicating honestly.

  • I know it sounds childish but on the back of my “we can create our own opportunities” speech above, having fun is mucho importanto to me.

If we are having fun, that’ll translate to our project together. If it’s not fun for us, it’s not fun for anyone, including your customer.
